The Beau Monde, November 1837.

Oooh!  I love that green gown.  And that blue cloak is quite a statement piece!

The Beau Monde,  May 1837.

The fabric of that green dress is just gorgeous!

The Beau Monde, December 1837.

OK, so maybe the later 1830s aren’t so bad.  I can’t believe I just said that!

The Beau Monde, August 1836.

Oh I love the dress on the left!  Even the sleeves are charming!

The Beau Monde, October 1836.

I’m a big fan of the orange plaid dress- very October-y!

The Beau Monde, January 1836.

Look at that cloak thing on the left!  The hood is a calash!  I do like all the little bows used as trim in this plate.

Oh 1830s…

The Beau Monde, November 1836.

I know there is a lot to look at in this one, and I’m trying really hard to look at things BESIDES bonnets!  I’m absolutely in love with the girl on the right in purple!  It is so…simple!  Sleeves are acceptable, trim is nice.  If I ever need an outfit for the 1830s this is it!
